About the event

The LCS Postgraduate Research Conference is an annual event celebrating the research done by first-year postgraduate students within the School of Languages, Cultures and Societies at the University of Leeds.

The theme for this year’s LCS PGR conference, “New Voices, New Perspectives”, reflects the ground-breaking research currently being undertaken by postgraduate research students across the school. Whether it’s taking new methodological approaches, uncovering unheard stories or making new theoretical developments, the wide-ranging research interests of LCS PGRs all have one thing in common: originality. Speakers will present current issues in translation studies, language teaching and interculturality and give the audience an insight into new ways of thinking about literature, language use and identity.

Join us in Research Training Room 1 in the Edward Boyle Library on Friday 3rd May to find out about the current research being done within our school.
